With the rapid development of the transport industry, traffic safety is being paid more and more attention to, and the working mental state of the crew is directly related to driving Safety. The transportation is busy, and the work pressure on the staff is high, especially at night when the crew is on duty, the chances of fatigue increase.
We partnered with Jinying Heavy Construction Machinery Co., Ltd to address their urgent need for a system that could monitor their drivers in real-time and provide immediate alerts in the event of driver fatigue, distraction, or other potential safety concerns.
System Requirements
The project required a robust and highly responsive system capable of analyzing driver behaviors, identifying potential risks, and issuing immediate alerts. The system also needed to be easily integrated into the existing machinery infrastructure with minimal disruption to operations.
System Challenge
Video surveillance has been installed in the vehicle, but the video has yet to be analyzed in real-time.
The video on the car is copied to the ground station through the network.Screening and selecting drivers' working status and regulated operations, through manual video retrieval takes time and effort.
Post-event analysis can only serve as a supervisory function but not a real-time warning.
System Overview
TIENUO's Driver Status Alert System uses advanced AI technology to monitor a driver's behavior in real-time. Through smart detection of signs such as eyelid closure, head position, and yawning, the system identifies signs of fatigue or distraction and triggers an alert, thus ensuring safety and productivity.
The crew members' standard operating procedures and mental state are detected by installing an intelligent early warning system on the train. For the crew member distraction, The alarm signal is issued in a timely and graded manner for bad conditions such as distraction and intermittent lookout.
The intermediate intelligent device connects the image collector and video all-in-one machine, which mainly carries out intelligent algorithms' analysis and processing work. The camera that monitors and analyzes the driver's abnormal driving status and provides relevant early detection, and promptly alerts the driver to fatigue driving and distraction behaviors such as idle chatter distraction, closed eyes, head-turning, etc., during the driving process in real-time.
