To meet this need, TIENUO implemented its advanced Pantograph Video Monitoring System that enabled comprehensive coverage and precise tracking of pantograph-catenary interactions, instrumental in preventing train disruptions and enhancing overall safety.
With the successive opening of high-speed railways, a series of problems have been exposed after the operation of the rolling stock online, in which faults in the rolling stock bow network constantly occur, seriously affecting the safe operation of the rolling stock.there are problems with the pantographs themselves and with the high voltage lines.To identify the cause of the fault and facilitate mechanical engineers to deal with bow network faults such as abnormal lowering of the bow. It is essential to provide supplementary surveillance video and analysis images and to consider the operating conditions of high-voltage equipment in the vicinity of the pantographs.The pantograph video surveillance system developed by our company was developed to solve this problem.in January 2021,Pantograph video monitoring system applied to Shanghai Railway Bureau sucessfully.
System Introduction
The pantograph video monitoring system is used for real-time monitoring of the working state of the pantograph and contact network on the roof of the vehicle during operation, taking into account the operating state of the high-voltage equipment near the pantograph.The pantographs and high-voltage components are displayed in a polling mode, providing supplementary monitoring video and analysis images for the accompanying mechanics to deal with abnormal lowering of the bow and other bow network faults.
Setting up the monitoring screen in the machinery room or cab's room. A camera is set up near the pantograph on the roof of the rolling stock, and a pantograph video monitoring server is set up in the carriage where the camera is located. The pantograph video monitoring system and the carriage video monitoring system of the rolling stock share the pantograph video monitoring server.
The pantograph camera collects video monitoring data and transmits it via Ethernet cable to the pantograph video monitoring server for recording and storage. The pantograph video monitoring servers can be independently networked and transmits real-time images to the monitoring screen, which displays real-time images.
