In August 2022, Shandong Tienuo Intelligent Co.,ltd realized the upgrading of the locomotive 6A video surveillance system to HD system installation trial use in Jinan locomotive section HXD3C0181 locomotive car.

System components

The onboard locomotive system consists of a 6A HD video board, digital HD camera, security gateway, buffer pool, an onboard base station (TAU), and supporting cables.

Locomotive 6A video needs to upgrade the HD video subsystem and replace the video board card, camera, display terminal, and cables to achieve HD video recording. The buffer pool communicates with the security gateway through a 1GE network card, pulling audio and video streams from the video board in real time for local caching and backing up the video stored on the video board to improve video recording reliability. After the locomotive arrives at the section, the onboard base station establishes a connection with the ground base station and transmits the data in the buffer pool to the ground.
